UG AI Engine for children
System Overview
PUG (UG Labs' conversational AI platform) enables safe, real-time AI conversations with children. We're device-agnostic, supporting apps, toys, smart TVs, and other hardware. Apps can send voice or text to PUG, and we respond with audio (including subtitles) and/or text.
Key features include:
- Prompt templating - Dynamically modify the LLM system prompt based on variables passed from the app at runtime
- Utilities - Extract meaningful insights from the conversation that can be consumed programmatically (for example, did the user speak about a certain subject, summarizing a conversation, etc.)
- Interruption handling - Support natural interactions where users can interrupt AI responses, with automatic conversation history adjustments
- Realtime safety handling - Configurable AI-driven interventions when users discuss sensitive topics (KidSAFE+ certified)
